| Multnomah Falls II |
I thought it was a such a beautiful subject, I had to paint it! Here is my finished painting of Multnomah Falls from when the weather was freezing and the ice had built up on it. Using white, grey and green acrylic paint I started with building the texture. I then finished with layers of oil paint to create the appearance of translucent water and ice.
Multnomah Falls was in the news recently when someone started a fire there permanently changing the most visited place in Oregon. It will still always be a wonderful place to visit. Here you have the original painting.
